Progress orders emergency shutdown of ShareFile Storage Zone Controllers
Progress Software told customers to immediately shut down Windows servers running ShareFile Storage Zone Controllers.
The company cited a "credible external security threat" and said it temporarily disabled affected accounts out of caution.
No patch or CVE has been published yet; Progress promised an update within 24 hours.
Storage Zone Controllers are on-premises components that bridge local storage to ShareFile cloud, making them internet-facing targets.
